Current: Fireworks Policy
The only fireworks permitted for detonation in Madera are those deemed legal by the Lakewood Police and Fire Department per Lakewood City Ordinances.

Proposed: Fireworks Policy
a. Firework discharge must be in accordance with Lakewood City Ordinances.
b. Only fireworks classified as legal consumer fireworks may be used.
c. Fireworks may only be discharged during the following approved times:
- July 4th: from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- December 31st: from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM on January 1st
