Vehicle Policy

Current: Vehicle Policy

a. Members may not park vehicles on Madera streets except in designated parking areas.

b. Members' guests may TEMPORARILY (less than 6 hours) park their vehicle on Madera streets as long as said vehicle does not block MHA member or emergency vehicle access.

c. Service providers may TEMPORARILY (less than 2 hours) park their vehicle on Madera streets as long as said vehicle does not block MHA member or emergency vehicle access.

d. The MHA Board is authorized to remove, at the owner's expense, vehicles inoperative or improperly parked.

e. Speed limits are posted and all MHA Members, guests, and service providers are expected to adhere to and respect the limits posted. Speeding violations reported to the Board will trigger the Speeding Non-Compliance Fee Policy.

f. All recreational and commercial vehicles (trailers, motor homes, trailer homes, campers, boats, boat trailers, utility trailers, etc.) parked in Madera without the written authorizations of the Board are subject to the vehicle non-compliance fees.

NOTE: In compliance with Lakewood City Ordinances, vehicles may only be parked on one side of the road during social occasions, to allow for emergency vehicle passage.

e. All MHA members, guests, and service providers are required to adhere to all posted traffic signage within the community, including but not limited to speed limits, stop signs, and one-way signs.

f. All recreational and commercial vehicles (trailers, motor homes, trailer homes, campers, boats, boat trailers, utility trailers, etc.) parked in Madera without the written authorizations of the MHA Board are subject to the vehicle non-compliance fees.
