a. If property is leased or rented by the homeowner, the homeowner remains fully responsible for the occupants' compliance with MHA CCR's and Policies.
b. In accordance with the Association's CC&Rs, which restrict the use of properties to single-family residential purposes and prohibit commercial use, the use of any lot for short-term rental purposes (defined as fewer than 30 consecutive days) is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, arrangements facilitated through Airbnb, VRBO, or similar platforms. Short-term rentals are considered a commercial use and are inconsistent with the residential character of the Madera community.
